Roq La Rue is thrilled to present a spotlight on Canadian based artist Brad Woodfin. Known for his atmospheric and painterly depictions of animals set against inky black backgrounds, his work sets his subjects in the spotlight with an almost reverential air. His work, while portraiture, captures a sense of movement vs a static pose, and captures a contemplative pure “animalness” of his subjects vs anthropomorphism. Brad Woodfin’s work was the most requested piece in our booth at the Seattle Art Fair so we are delighted to share this spotlight for those who missed out!
