Happy New Year and January Hours
Created on 2009-12-31T11:13:00.000-08:00
Happy New Year!
We are excited for 2010 and thought we'd share some of what we have coming up. We are taking a bit of a break in January to spiff up the gallery (we will be open Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month though!). Then we reopen to host a major exhibition of works this February by Sarah Joncas, who has been laying low lately creating this impressive, atmospheric new body of work.
Additionally we will be bringing a new talent to the gallery from France, artist Ciou, who will be exhibiting her darkly charming drawings and paintings.

After that is "Lush Life 2"...a follow up to last year's wildly successful "Lush Life" show. This year's show will be focused not only on paintings but also 3d works, and the will feature artists such as Joe Sorren, Marion Peck, Chris Berens, Brian Despain, John Brophy, Madeline Von Foerster, Martin Wittfooth, Kris Kuksi, Mandy Greer and many more!

The rest of the year also looks great with exhibitions by returning artists Chris Berens, Glenn Barr, Femke Hiemstra, Ryan Heshka, and we are thrilled to host shows by new-to-the-gallery artists Edwin Ushiro, Yoskay Yamamoto, Martin Wittfooth, and Mike Brown.

You may have noticed a new person behind the desk at the gallery- Robert Flores officially joined the crew and will be manning the gallery a few days a week.

We have a few other fun things in the works that we will be posting once it's all confirmed.
Lastly (for now) Femke Hiemstra designed a wonderful t-shirt for the gallery. We are having them printed up now and hope to have them in a few weeks! We will have both guys and girls shirts available in assorted sizes. We will announce it when they are ready to go!

We also just want to say thank you so much for your support, to everyone who picked up work at the gallery, bought prints from our charity series, or just looked at the site and appreciated the artist's work. We had a great year thanks to you, and we wish everyone the best!
